(54) METHOD FOR REMOVING LIQUID FROM ITS CONTAINING MATERIALS IN THE FORM OF DENSE SUSPENSION AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION
The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in the production of sugar from beets.
A known method of removing liquid from materials containing it in the form of a condensed suspension by pressing a material placed on a porous base, followed by removal of the compressed material from the base £ 1].
The method is carried out by the device. containing porous bases for accommodating the pressed material, mounted around the circumference on the hollow axis with the possibility of rotation, and a pressing head with framing elements.
The disadvantage of this method is that the concentration of solid particles in the pressed material is low due to the inability to create a reliable insulation between high and low pressure zones when it is pressed.
2
The gap of the invention is an increase in the concentration of solid particles in the compressed material.
This is achieved by the fact that according to the method of removing liquid from the materials containing it in the form of a condensed suspension by pressing a material placed on a porous base, followed by removal of the pressed material from said base, before pressing, the liquid is partially removed from the material by creating a vacuum from the side of the base, after which the material is pressed, 5 at a pressure of 1-10 kg / cm 2 until a Filter-fresh cake is formed and then pressed at a pressure of 30300 kg / cm
The vacuum from the base side is maintained during the pressing of ma. terial.
The material is placed on the base by dipping it in a container with liquid-containing material, while maintaining vacuum from the side of the base during this period.
Compressed material is removed by creating a pressure higher than atmospheric from the base side.
A device for implementing this method, containing porous bases for accommodating the extrudable material, rotatably mounted around the hollow axis, and a pressing head with framing elements, equipped with drives' for moving the framing elements, the bases are made in the form of hollow brackets and hollow disks, and the pressing head is made in the form of plates arranged on both sides of the disks and drives for their movement.
The device is equipped with a container with liquid-containing material mounted under the bases, and the hollow axis is horizontal.
Hollow brackets and a hollow axis are connected by channels for supplying compressed air and creating a vacuum from the side of the bases.
In addition, it is equipped with filters placed between the bases and the extruded extruded plates. ·
In FIG. a device for removing liquid from materials containing it; in FIG. 2 - one of the main. vanii and a pressing head; in Fig.Z-- ; longitudinal section along the base · and pressing plates (on the left is a pressing plate with a gap between it and the base, on the right - in a closed state, i.e. at the end of pressing)).
The device consists of a horizontal hollow axis 1 mounted on a bed with the possibility of rotation, on which the porous bases 2 of the pressing head 3 are mounted around the circumference, with framing elements 4, a container 5 for a liquid-containing material (suspension) 6 is installed. under the bases 2, as well as drives 7 moving framing elements 4.
The base 2 is made in the form of hollow brackets 8 and hollow disks 9, and the pressing head is made in the form of pressing plates 10 placed on both sides of the disks 9.
The hollow brackets 8 and the hollow axis 1 are connected by channels 11 for supplying material, and also between the material and the presses is schematically depicted for implementing the compressed air method and creating a vacuum from the side of the base 2. Between the bases 2 and the pressed material, as well as between the pressed material and the pressing plates 10 placed filters 12.
The tank 5 is connected to a pump 13 for supplying a thickened slurry and is equipped with a drain pipe 14 mounted above the funnel 15, which is connected to the pump. Two trays 16 are also fixed on the bed, between which the bases 2 pass during their rotation. Hydraulic cylinders 17 are designed to move the pressing plates 10, and the drive 7 for moving the framing elements 4 is made in the form of hydraulic cylinders 18.
On the surface of the bases 2, there are concentric grooves 19 connected to the cavity by ducts 20. Filters 12 are made in the form of disks 21 of a porous material coated with a filter cloth 22.
Press plates have channels 23 that can be connected. _P_ device for creating a vacuum or with a source of compressed air. The framing elements 4 have pads 24, ensuring the alignment of the pressing plates and bases.
The device operates as follows.
When the bases 2 pass through the container 5, the condensed slurry 6 contained in it is sucked onto the porous surface due to the vacuum from the base side, which is supported by moving the base to the pressing head. The rotation of axis 1 is intermittent. When placing the base between the pressing plates 10, the framing elements 4 are brought into motion, which are brought into contact with the boundary regions of the porous bases.
Then, when moving the pressing plates, the material located on the base is compressed, and the liquid squeezed out of the material is removed through the channel 11 due to the constantly maintained vacuum. The pressing plates are returned to their original position, the axis 1 is rotated, and compressed air is supplied to the porous bases through the channel 11 due to which dry filterpress cakes are separated from the filters 12 and fall on the trays 16.
Material pressing is carried out in two stages. At the beginning of the material
973007 6 is compressed at a pressure of 1-10 kg / cm 2 , so that the layers of the material are partially dehydrated. With this initial compression, the structure of the material layer changes and the initial mass turns 5 into a hard, rigid cake. Subsequently, the pressure rises to 30300 kg / cm 2 · and an additional liquid is removed. Between the pressing plate and the framing elements there can be 10 significant clearance without the risk of extruding the pressed material through it.
The economic effect of the implementation of the invention is ensured by increasing the concentration of solid particles in the pressed material.
